This has happened twice to me now, and last night was a real scare. I thought my computer just quit on me. It is about 2 years old, and I will put the specs below. I have no idea why it randomly turned off. I got it starting again and running fine. I looked at the event logs and i have a lot of error but only 1 critical error. The code was kernel power and that just means a shut down not the safe way. The reason for this was i had to turn it off that way because nothing else was working on the computer. I unplugged the mother board 24-pin cable and that make it reset and turn back on. I did clean my computer the day before with compressed air. I want to know if anyone else has had problems like this? I just dont know if it is going to happen again if it is something more than it was just loose. All my temps are good to go. For my CPU I run 63C on full load, and 60C on my GPU at 50%(It wont go any higher unless in stress test).
