Randomly lose power to USB and AIO

Just built this PC about a month ago and started having intermittent issues with losing power to my keyboard, mouse, headset, and anything else that I plug into USB (external drive, etc.). My AIO LCD also appears to have a brief issue, but doesn't turn off. Just seems to lag then go back to normal. This happens on devices plugged into the onboard USB ports or the case USB ports. I've tried updating the chipset and the motherboard BIOS is up to date. The PC doesn't reset and nothing else seems to happen when it occurs. Sometimes it'll happen twice in a 30 minute period, sometimes I can go hours without an issue. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
Windows 11 Home 10.0.22621
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z79090 Carbon WiFi
CPU: Intel i7 13700K
PSU: MSI MPG A1000G
Primary Drive: WD Black SN850X NVMe 2TB
Secondary Drive: MSI Spatium M450 M.2 1TB
AIO: Corsair iCue H150i ELITE LCD
GPU: MSI GeFore RTX 4080 Trio
RAM: 32 GB T-Force Vulcan 5200 MHz

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Can you please state the version for your BIOS? As for your platform, can you open up Device Manager and see if anything is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark? Did you install all drivers relevant to your platform in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Thank you!

The last one I updated to was 7D89v16. No yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager. I didn't right click and Run as Administrator, however, I am logged into the Administrator user. Does that change it?

Maybe a loose connection. Take off the case cover, unplug any wires that go to the USB ports, plug them back in firmly.

Make sure to look for debris near the plug that might be preventing a full/good connection.

I checked my connections and everything seems good. Still happening.

The weird thing is, it's the USBs that are build into the motherboard that are having the issue as well, but my built in WiFi doesn't lose connection so it's not affecting everything.

My last computer also lost power to the monitor sometimes. I swapped in a new graphics card, which didn't work, so I figured it was the motherboard. Normally it would fix itself but then at one point it did not and the PC was no longer usable, so I got a new PC. I've also had USB problems with every computer for the past 12+ years.

You may need a new motherboard. Can you take it to a repair shop? A new mobo may be cheaper than a whole new PC.
