Randomly Rubber-banding (csgo)

so usually my wifi is really good. i get like <25 ping in comps and stuff. one day i restarted the modem because it wasnt working so when it turns back on and i play csgo i start rubber banding all the sudden. my ping goes from 25 all the way to 75 for like 2 seconds then goes all the way back down. its very annoying because i need a constant good connection to the server to play effectively. i dont not like the rubber banding because it is so annoying. please dont suggest turning it off and on again because i tried that and it doesnt help 🙁 thanks

Is there a way for you to test the router's connection in csgo using wired lan for diagnostic purposes?

idk ive never really thought of doing that but the closest thing to finding stuff about your connection is your ping. im going to try to play wired and see if that fixes anything.

its the shitty servers, its happening to me and a traceroute shows high ping at valves end.
