This is finally fast enough that it can be used as a low-end desktop replacement, right?
I'd estimate it as similar to a Sandybridge i5, though I can't say exactly what clockspeed. Although, the same is probably true of Jasper Lake (i.e. previous-gen Intel E-core SoC) mini-PCs.

The sad part is that I expect its iGPU will still be markedly worse than Sandybridge's, but I'm currently just basing that on their track record and not any real information about it.

For the most desktop-like experience, you'd best use a SSD via either NVMe or even USB 3. And probably don't skimp on cooling.
