Review Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W Review: The RP2350 goes wireless

I thought that they were going to use the RP2350B on the Pico 2 W.

The 2040 (and 2350A) doesn't have enough GPIO pins for everything it did on the Pico and interfacing with the wireless chip.
Therefore some internal functions have been moved to the wireless chip's GPIO pins. It also didn't have an interface to the Bluetooth part of the wireless chip.

So when the 2350B chip with 48 GPIO pins had been announced, I thought its purpose would have been to use it for a new better Pico 2 W that wouldn't have had the same limitations.
But apparently I was mistaken.

The microUSB is annoying. I jumped on the Pimoroni "Plus" models straight out the gate. They cost more, but have USBC and include expanded PSRAM. Really awesome, powerful little boards!

They pushed RP quite hard over the years on better PSRAM support on the og Pico.
