I'm quite the newcomer on building PC's, and I've just finished choosing the parts for my first-ever $1000 budget desktop. I've spent a few dozen hours researching and choosing components, but I'd like a bit of feedback before I proceed any further (start purchasing). Thanks.
P.S: I'll hoping this rig will be alright for anything from gaming to video editing, and that it will last for quite a while. And my 24-in monitor's resolution is 1920 x 1080.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Motherboard: MSI 870A-G54 AM3 AMD Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 SDRAM
VGA: ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V 80+ Certified
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Internal HDD
Optical Drive: Asus Black 18x SATA DVD-ROM Drive
Case: Antec 902 ATX Mid Tower
Any suggestions, comments, etc. would be appreciated.
