I wasn't recommending my case over yours, merely that they looked very similar internally. While mine does provide more noise-canceling materials built into it, I paid way more for it 10 years ago. The case you selected I think is just fine.

I only suggest water cooling because I like things to be as silent as possible. I think it's just personal taste unless you plan to do some serious OC'ing. I use a Corsair H60, and in my testing I found in normal operations it doesn't do anything over a regular cooler does. It was only when OC'ing did I see a temperature difference.

I had thought as much. A month from now is when I can expect updates about that?

That is one massive looking cooler. I always wondered how those giant heat sinks don't just snap the motherboard from the weight. The case looks similar to my Antec P180, with what appears to be a spot for a radiator on the top. Don't ya wanna be a cool kid and water cool that PC?

Overall seems like a solid build. Personally, I'd never spend that much on a GPU. Only thing I'd consider changing would be your SSD. I assume you're just going to use that for the OS and install games/apps on the seagate (im not a fan of seagate). I did the same thing and found out 250GB goes very fast, even without games installed on it. Win10 eats up a large chunk itself. So when I built my new system last fall, I went with a 512GB system drive instead.

I don't see you have any problems running games at 1080 with a 1080.

I figured I didn't need to go with water cooling as I don't plan on throwing largely CPU intensive tasks at this computer other than multiple applications. What cooler would you suggest? Are you recommending your case as well? I don't plan on spending this much when I actually buy it since it'll be around Black Friday/ Cyber Monday. Hopefully by then NVidia will have released their new lineup of graphics cards and prices will drop stacked with holiday sales. I will look into a 512gb drive :)

Rumors are Nvidia will release GPUs next month. So that is when I would begin to think about it more seriously.
