Thinking of a new gaming PC, have a few choices in mind and was looking for some feedback (because that never hurts, right?)

1. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TheFoxer/saved/4fmP Intel build

2. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TheFoxer/saved/4dxg AMD build

I know RAM, optical drive, and storage hdd are missing; I already have those parts. And on the intel build, should i up the PSU to the rosewill capstone 550w? Cannot decide if 450w is sufficient enough.
Trying to keep this around 750USD, going to be a gaming rig. Thanks.

Solution
The capstone 450W is good enough for your build, and is a very good PSU.
I would go with the Intel build, but for almost no money I would switch out the 3rd generation i5 with this 4th generation:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($184.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $184.98
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Other than that, go with the Intel build and remember the compatibility notes suggested by PCpartpicker.

Have fun!

I somewhat agree with the fourth gen i5 over the 3rd gen one, however, the motherboard is on sale for a pretty decent price this and is a really solid board, sadly it's not compatible with Haswell.

I changed my mind, agreeing with you after thinking about it. This is the new build

Looks good man, happy building.
Also, remember to select the answer that helped you the most as the solution.
It's common courtesy here :)
