Hello!

I'm new here. I am going to build my own gaming computer to replace the one I have right now (the one I have atm has been there for 11 years now. Time for it to rest in pieces).

So, ehm...Could you please kindly rate my new rig? It's for gaming purpose. This will be my very first customized rig, my very first gaming computer.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (3.7 GHz)
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK
DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX, Noir, 2 x 8 Go, 2666 MHz, CAS 16
Be Quiet ! Shadow Rock Slim
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, 1 g
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition, 8 Go
Seagate BarraCuda, 2 To
Samsung Série 860 EVO, 250 Go, SATA III
Corsair Carbide 275R Acrylic Window, Black
Seasonic Focus Plus 650 Gold, 650W

Thank you very much! :)

Upgrade to 3200MHz Ram since Ryzen processors gets huge speed boost from increased RAM speeds. It will cost around 15 USD more.

And upgrade to MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon for 20 USD more or get a mid-range X470 motherboard for ~80 USD more.

And don't buy GTX 1070 Ti. Buy the RTX 2070. It is more efficient and powerful with better ray tracing. Or just blow some cash and get the RTX 2080 Ti. It is a very bad time to buy GTX cards.

3200 MHz Ram is compatible with B450 Tomahawk if you overclock the motherboard. It is pretty easy to overclock a motherboard. Go and search on YouTube. You will find a ton of videos. My friend has 3200MHz RAM on MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon

You overclock the ram,not the motherboard, but you do it in the bios if that is what you mean.

Just get 2933<->3200mhz ram,try to get as low cas latency as possible with that.My own 3200mhz ram ran at 2666mhz for a while since bios updates where necessary and didn't do too bad,but had 14-14-14-30 timings with it.Still don't run 3200mhz,but 3066 with just lowered timings, works great.
So if you get 2666mhz ram make sure it has low timings and if possible start voltage of 1.2V which tthen might give possibility for overclocking it.

See no problem with gtx cards (or AMD RX) at the moment.
