Question RAW to NTFS

So I just built a new computer and my hard drive has been messing up and I can’t access it and I’m pretty sure it’s because it’s RAW not NTFS and I have tried everything to attempt to change it but am having no luck can anyone help??

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

If you had information in that hard drive, the only option is connec it to a PC with MAC OS or Linux and backup the information there. You can not change the RAW format to NTFS without format the entire disk.

Hi thanks for the response, I have windows 10 home installed and nothing is on the drive so I will happily format it ASAP it’s just I’ve been struggling to do as every time I try to format it it says “the format did not complete successfully”
