Hello,

I am trying to replace my SSD in my Razer blade stealth v2.04 (2016). The old drive is bricked so I can't clone it. I am trying to install a Samsung 970 pro. When I install the drive, and boot from USB installation media, the drive does not appear. When I go into the bios under nvme config, the new drive does not appear. To confirm that my ribbon cable still worked, I put the old drive back in and it is still recognized in the bios. The bios I am running is 6.0, which is the most recent according to Razer tech support. Am I missing a crucial step? Is it possible my device is it possible my laptop is not compatible with the new memory? Any advice is appreciated.
