Razer Deathadder mouse scroll click won't work?

Hello,

Thank you very much for reading this, as the title says, my mouse's scroll aka vertical mouse scroller thingy click isn't functioning properly anymore, I can't open new tabs or anything, and I did nothing, it just happen all of the sudden. If you have any suggestions as for how to fix this, it is greatly appreciated.

when i had problems with my Deathadder, before RMA it, Razer support recommanded me to create a new profile in synapse. Maybe you could start by trying this.

Otherwise, try to plug your mouse in another computer without installing the driver and then see if the scroll works or not. If not, then this might be a malfunction. e-mail razer if your mouse is still under warranty.

The thing is scrolling works, is scrolling and scroll click different? Also, I've tried creating a new profile, didn't work.

I tried it on my laptop, scroll click didn't work on there.

well your mouse is defective then contact Razer support for replacement explain them you already tried plugging into your laptop without driver installed and that you tried creating a new profile.

Be ready, they ask you to cut the cord and send them a picture before sending your RMA it doesn't feel great damaging your own things ! but don't do it until they ask you to !!! just in case XD

It's a year old post. Also, opening the mouse would void warranty. I would advise against it.

Ofcourse you should call Razer then, no-one would search forums with active warranty.
