[SOLVED] Razer Kraken 7.1 Microphone Issues

Everything is working great except for the microphone keeps cutting in and out literally every second or two.

I have set the device as my default as well as default communications device.

Now the really weird thing is using the Razer Synapse software test feature it does not cut out AT ALL, it picks everything up, but any outside software such as Discord or OBS it picks up the first second of what I say and then takes a few seconds to pick up the next sound.

I have done a complete reinstall of the drivers, and software and still no luck.

As a final side note I did use Voicemeeter Banana for quite some time which caused all kinds of strange issues, but I have uninstalled that software completely so I did not think it would be causing issues but maybe that could be part of the issue.

Any ideas?

Mmm do you let discord automatically detect input sensitivity when speaking, or is it set on manual?

So it's not just Discord, its literally any app that is not the Razer app. That is the strange part and no its not set automatically I manually set it to the correct mic and still same issues arise on Discord.

Mmm I once used a voicechanging software because I wanted to sound like a Fighter Pilot, and the software I used screwed up my sound completely.. I did a fresh install and it fixed it, but that was long ago.

Maybe you can go to device manager > Audio inputs and outputs > Right click on the microphone > Browse my computer for driver > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > Select "Generic software device > next

That fixed a static Noise I had on my mic a while back. Worth a shot
