One of my friends is offering me his razer lachesis mouse 5600 dpi for $25.
Is it a good deal ?,
How would you pit it against some of the other mice like logitech g9

Thanks
Mic

Hows the condition of the mouse? And for $25 I would say it is a pretty good deal, try to get it for $20 if you can, haha!
It would help if you tried the mouse though. Do you like the feeling? Do you not? If you like the feeling of the mouse and you play games at high sensitivities, then I would suggest you get the mouse. If you're like me, and didn't really like the shape of the mouse, and don't play at "insanely" high sensitivities, I would suggest getting something else. I ended up going with the Deathadder.

An update, I am getting the razer vespula and razer lachesis for $35. They have been used for an year . As the person lives on the same campus, i have the opportunity to see the mouse and buy it. What would you think is the typical life of a mouse from razer , and the razer pad gives it a really good deal?

Hmmm perhaps you should ask to try the mouse instead of just seeing it prior to the purchase. Another thing to check is the mouse feet at the bottom. If it isn't a whitish sort of colour or is loose, you should ask if he took apart the mouse in any way.
Coming from my own experience, my Deathadder has lasted me about two and a half years and is still running strong. However, I take very good care of my stuff and ensure that I don't drop it or give the cord too much tension.
As for the mouse pad- to be honest, I don't really feel a difference between a $10 mousepad and a $40 mousepad. I'd say go for both though, for $10 more why not?

Thanks for the help mate, yes i will be having a look at them on monday, special thanks for the mouse feet advice:)
