Razer Naga Epic Chroma acting up!

I acquired a Razer Naga Epic Chrome (mouthful) about a month ago and I keep having small issues that have become very annoying. The mouse will randomly seem to skip around the screen in any direction or just completely freeze for a rough few seconds, and then it will be fine and work perfectly normal afterwards. This happens about once or twice an hour and it happens in both wireless and wired mode. I've tried uninstalling razer synapse and reinstalled, no luck. I've also tried using a USB 2.0 and 3.0 plug and both have same results. I'm not too sure what to do so I'm coming to one of the most knowledgeable places I know of.

I also have a Black Widow Chroma as my keyboard if that matters.

Try it on another computer.
Check your mouse pad to see if there's a spot on it that is rough, which could cause it to skip around.
Check the bottom of your mouse and see if there's something on it

I will try on a new computer when I get home. The mousepad is clear and clean and the bottom of the mouse appears to be fine... however, I'm curious if the sensor malfunctioning :/

Unplug the mouse and look at it in the light. Try to look at the sensor and see if anything has scratches or junk on it.

Having the same exact problem. Brand new mouse, tried wired/wireless.

I contacted Razer support and they ended up recommending me to send it in for replacement. I was among the first batch of people to receive the mouse, I imagine that there may have been a flaw with that specific production line. So far everyone that I've talked to who had purchased their Naga Chroma within the first 2 weeks of release are having issues, others are fine.

Troubleshooting tips: Please ensure that the device is plugged directly into your system (back USB ports) and/or try the product on another computer. This will help us determine whether it is a hardware related issue. Please try the mouse on another mouse pad or on a plain white paper surface.

If you are using the mouse with Synapse software, please reset surface calibration in Synapse.

1. Launch Synapse 2.0
2. Press and hold the Left, Right and Middle mouse buttons (M1, scroll wheel, M2) for 5 seconds while the mouse is plugged in.
3. After resetting your mouse you should readjust the surface calibration within Synapse.

You can also try clean the lens. Error on cursor sometimes may related to dirty or scratched sensor lens.

Clean the sensor lens with a Q-tip and some alcohol, let it dry for 5mins and try again. Please use Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 99% for this purpose. You do not want to use Rubbing alcohol that contains ethanol. Isopropyl Alcohol 99% or 100% pure is commonly found in most all drug stores and medicine cabinets. Further cleaning can be obtained by using some "air in a can" or "canned air" to blow out any dust on and around the sensor assembly.

I found a solution for this problem. I aquired a Razer Naga Epic Chroma and after 1 week I had the same problem like you. So what i do ?
First time i search on google and i try all solutions possible ( to enable some option on Bios, to activate all USB to never be disabled when computer is on sleep, to reinstall Synapse, to install old version of Synapse etc.
But my solution was to INSTALL THIS DRIVER from GIGABYTE: ON_OFF_CHARGE
After that my mouse work without any problem. If you have motherboard Gigabyte im sure will work. If you have other motherboard you can try to install this soft. I dont know what this driver modify in registry but after install the mouse work perfectly without FREEZING and TELEPORTING.

One thing to note that if you are using the mouse in wired mode, from my understanding the mouse should remain "off" from the switch on the bottom of the mouse. I've tested this myself... If I am using the mouse in wired mode with the switch turned "on", the mouse will teleport. The issue went away as soon as I flipped the switch off.
