Razer problems.

Running Windows 7 Beta

Just bought a Razer Megeladon headset.

Every so often the sound cuts off and mic mutes itself. It is random. I looked around and i guess others are having this problem as well.

The only way I can get sound back is by going to Sound > and disabling and re enabling the headset. and it begins to work again.

any suggestions?

Razer aren't currently developing drivers for 7 since it's still a beta OS, you're just going to have to put up with it until they do.

Sidenote: Been thinking of replacing my Barracuda, how's the Megaladon in terms of audio quality, surround quality, and max volume? My Barracuda can be heard quite clearly from downstairs if turned way up, it is rather funny.

the megelodons are amazing imo. My friend has the barracudas so I know what your talking about volume wise, megalogodons dont get that loud, but the sound is extremely crisp and the base is out of this world lol

Aww... I'll miss the loudness (not having to buy speakers for when you don't want to wear the headset is useful), but all in all they sound rather promising.

One other thing - what's the comfort like compared to Barra's? My pair were rather tight, uncomfortable at first but after a while, other headphones just felt too loose...

I think they are super comfy. feels like my ears have sweaters on lol
