[SOLVED] Razer Synapse software has no option to calibrate on a custom mousepad ?

I have a Razer Deathadder v2 mini. When I go into the Razer Synapse app and select the calibration option, it shows the Default no calibration option is selected. When I clicked the add a surface option, it showed me the Razer mousepads but didn't have a custom option! The Razer site says that the custom option should be at the bottom of the list but when I scrolled down, there wasn't any custom option!

Is this Razer's way of forcing customers into their ecosystem? If so, it is very annoying

That's what Razer has been doing for a long while...until you realize they are all hype and you're paying for the badge not the quality associated with it. That being said, have you tried uninstalling Razer's Synapse and then rebooting, then reinstalling with the latest off of their support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Since you've posted this thread in the Windows 10 section, what version(not edition) of Windows 10 are you working with? Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for said motherboard?

Got a link to the mousepad you got? Perhaps you could choose the closest surface option as an emulation of the surface if the option to add a custom surface isn't there.

I tried that doing what you said but it didn't work, the synapse app still doesn't show the custom mousepad option. I am actually using Windows 11, I posted this here on accident. The version of Windows 11 is 21H2.

My motherboard is a G712LU from ROG according to cpu-z, the bios version is G712LU.314 from 4/26/2021 according to msinfo32

My mousepad is a Logitech G480 K/DA XL, (please don't ask why I chose this one)

I had a razor keyboard and mouse once and I found that the software was horrible in every respect and I stopped using it all together.

Do you know a razer mousepad that is close to my mousepad which I can calibrate it to?
