I am considering replacing my peripherals with Razer. Currently I use the Logitech G700S mouse and a Steelseries Apex gaming keyboard. I have always had good luck with Razer Mice and really like them. However, I was at Best Buy the other day and got the chance to play with the Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and it felt leaps and bounds better than my Steelseries.

Currently I am considering the Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and the Razer Mamba, Razer DeathAdder Chroma, or the Razer Orochi mouse.

Also in my experience any time I have ever needed warranty Logitech is simple to deal with and usually replaces things for free without requiring me to return a broken product.

So my questions are as follows:

1. What company do you prefer for mice?

2. What company do you prefer for mechanical keyboards?

3. How is warranty/support?

4. And why do you prefer the companies you do?

Also for Razer experts what is the difference between the Razer Blackwidow Chroma Stealth and the Razer Blackwidow Chroma? They are the same price and look the same.

I think they are both solid companies with good support and good products. I would not rate one above the other.
I suggest reading about or trying their software to help you decide. I personally like the Logitech software for mouse and keyboard customizations , it's well designed and reliable.

I don't have expericence with Razer software, it may be very good also.

Peripherals are kinda too personal to say which are the "best". But I have a Logitech G502 mouse and the Razer Blackwidow Chroma. Mouse will depend on what kind of grip you are use/comfortable with, I think the G502 is more for a palm grip, it is not so good for a claw grip or whatever other grips there are. But I have had it for a month and so far it has been working up to it's specs, it feels pretty comfortable to me and it looks cool, but I pretty much just bought it because it looks cool, lol. It has up to 12000 DPI setting which no one will ever use, but always fun to mess with. It has a lot of buttons on it for DPI up or down or change your already set up profiles with the touch of a button, also has a sniper button up front if you have long fingers. What I like the most about it though is the scroll wheel, you can lock it and it just scrolls along with your finger or you can unlock it and just roll once and it scrolls up or down endlessly, it is pretty useful for a long pages, the software is very stable too, I haven't had any unresponsive issues with it, works 100% for me. Now for the keyboard, the Stealth edition means they use different keys I believe for the keyboard to make it quieter when you press them, since you have already played with the Chroma, you have probably noticed it is kinda loud with the "clicky" sound. But if you don't mind loud keyboard sounds, then get the Chroma with the awesome color settings that comes with it. Razer Synapse has released a new color option a few weeks ago for you to play around with called the Ripple. When you press a key, it ripples like water throughout your entire keyboard in the color of Chroma or in a single color of your choice, I personally love that option, the software is not that complicated to use either. Also, you can use all kinds of different color patterns/options to customize the keyboard, such as having wave, ripple, reactive, etc all together. Now onto the others, if you want the best build quality and better switches, you can go with something like the Corsair K70 RGB but their lights is not as good, they are just built for quality and with advanced/complicated software for professional purposes I guess. So it all comes down to your preferences and what you want/need out of your mouse/keyboard. If you want cool color options and just want a decent to pretty good build quality, go with the Chroma, if you want quietness, go with the Stealth but without the Chroma colors. Or go with Corsair if you don't care much about lights and want pure performance. Longest paragraph I have typed in here about peripherals, lol 😀

I went with the Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard. Almost everything I do on my laptop involves steam and I have read that the Corsiar CUE software causes extreme RAM usage and CPU usage to the point it makes the PC useless. I have also read that the CUE software causes the LED"s to freeze in the Corsair and the keyboard will stop working completely until a reboot is done. So far Corsair has been saying it would get fixed since Dec 14, 2014 and its still not done yet 2 months later. Cant justify spending $180 on a keyboard that is broken due to software.
