The mobile industry might have advanced to the point where we have quad-core phones and tablets, but hardcore PC gamers don't want to play Cut the Rope or Angry Birds.

Okay, so now if you're into playing something more complicated than "Angry Birds" you are a "hardcore" gamer?

Ummm, no.

😉

Because we all know that serious PC gaming doesn't require a keyboard. It requires a controller.

This is just as pointless as the 7"-gaming-netbook they proposed a while ago.

Anybody with just a tiny bit of common sense is going to buy a Nintendo 3DS or PS Vita instead of this... thing. 3DS and Vita are probably 1/4 of the price and 10 times more fun.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]This is cool but I already have a mobile gaming platform the Asus g74SX with 580m 3gb graphics 16gb ram and 1080p 120hz screen. BF3 all high settings get 60-70fps. Thanks.[/citation]

580m 3GB? wtf?

I would be more excited if Razer decided to use AMD Trinity instead of Intel's Ivy Bridge. For a 1280 x 800 res, a radeon 7xxx mobile would do wonders.

the thumb controls look a little high up on the sides if u ask me. the screen would end up being below hand height...I don't know about you but I think putting them just slightly further down enable a more erognomic feel?

I think the the term "crappy game tablet port" will become common place in the next few years.

I really don't understand this keyboard vs controller argument that is floating around. Are these people just FPS players or something? I mean I personally use keyboard and controller equally across my games, e.g. FPS, RTS, and older games- keyboard; racing, TPS, RPG- controller.

Gaming...gaming...gaming.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind playing a game or two; after all, I used to write games back in the dark ages. But does almost every article have to deal with gaming now ?
No phone...gaming
No CPU...gaming
New TV...gaming.
I'm surprised 'gaming' was not part of the article about WIFI in washing machines !
