Question RC car connects to controller, but I get no throttle or steering ?

Demonstration
I have gone through a bunch of online fixes, rebinding the controller, swapping the throttle and steering on the radio controller. Checking the batteries and even replacing them.
You can see in the video it connects and adjusts to the steering centering but I can't get it to do anything.
Something I didn't demonstrate in the video is thst If I adjust the throttle.. Alignment? On the controller the car will go full speed in fwd and reverse.
I would love any advice at all, I've no idea what I'm doing I inherited this from a long since passed family member and it's been sitting for awhile.

which receiver model are you using?

plugs correctly plugged in? from receiver to servos as well?

Yes it worked before.

This is the reciever

I believe I have all the cables going where they're supposed to go, the alignment nobs on the remote control for the throttle and steering adjust each accordingly as I spin them but the actual controls do nothing.
