I found a really good deal on a RDIM memory, however, I do not know much about the types of ram modules and specifications and stuff like that. What are the differences from RDIM and DIMM? And are both usable for gaming?
I assume UDIMM = unregistered memory & RDIMM = registered memory & that you're not asking about RDRAM?
As stated in the links, registered memory is generally used in servers where reliability/stability is extremely important. End users generally don't need registered memory...it's more expensive & decreases performance. In fact, many motherboards don't even support it.
