Why would a RDP desktop become pixelated over a shot time and the local desktop be perfectly fine? Could this be a server problem on a problem with the local machine?

The small business I work for uses a RDP to connect to a POS server. After a short time the sever desktop become pixelated, while the local desktop is functioning fine. The server management company claims it to be a local machine problem, but this problem has surfaced on 3 different machines in 2 different locations. HELP!!!

Are you talking about where the basic windows background becomes really blocky like it attempted to do the smooth gradient but really screwed it up?

That seems to be RDP reducing the bandwidth it needs to use by sacrificing the integrity of an unimportant image. Unless you are RDPing within your network it will often limit some things to maintain a smooth connection.
