RE: Alienware Area 51 Case - Front Panel Badge Light

Hi,

I recently purchased an old Area 51 case and have been cleaning it up in anticipation for the new bits and pieces I've ordered. Through multiple google searches, I saw that the front panel badge is supposed to have a bulb to illuminate the eyes, which mine didn't. I removed the backing plate to find (surprise, surprise), the bulb was not there, just the two pin connector.

I would like to know if possible, what bulb I can use to replace it please. I have had a rough search and due to my lack of understanding, have only been able to find 2 pin LED bulbs with pins that look far too long to fit and comes in bulk lots of 1000?

It is an extremely minor detail with regard to the outlay i've made on components already, but if anyone can help, thanks in advance.

I read through the thread, but my situation differs a little. My two pin connector feeds into one of the main power cables, i think a molex from memory. i am attempting to source a two pin bulb that is compatible with the plug.

you might be able to find a fan extension cable from molex to 3 pin and attach the 2 pins from the light to the 2 power pins on the fan attachment.

I actually have the required cabling in place Sheag, my question is regarding the bulb.
