[SOLVED] Re-pasting my GPU but some old paste went into the green part of the die itself while wiping - is this okay? (pic inside)

What paste did you use? Reason: paste quality matters....

Hopefully the spillover will not cause any problems beyond cosmetic with the paste being non-conductive.

Maybe try to carefully clean it out a bit more with a cotton swab and alcohol.

There may be other suggestions and ideas so "wait a bit" before doing anything.

Some paste contains fine metallic particles and can conduct electricity. Some contain ceramics etc ...

That isn't some, that is a fair amount. Go ahead as mentioned with a cotton swab and 95% isopropanol and clean it off. Don't worry about the wetness, just clean it, just clean it then let it dry.
