Question Real Time Priority question.

Hello

This is probably a stupid question but when setting priority to a certain process such as a benchmarking tool, will setting said benchmarking tool to real time priority increase thermals of the CPU due to the nature of the program? Or is this not affected due to no change in the amount the CPU is processing overall.

Very much depends on if there is enough other stuff running in the background,stuff that would use much less of the IPC compared to the benchmark.
But yeah,it should hardly ever matter.
