16gb ddr4 ram
Sometimes while I am on my computer screens will go straight to sleep mode and my fans all go from normal to maximum speed. Unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in does not work. Only holding the power button to force turn it off and back on is the only thing that seems to fix it.
The problem did not exist when I used only a single monitor but now happens with 2 monitors. (At least as I remember). I have unplugged the graphics card and put that back in securely as well.
I am not sure what the issue could be causing this or how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Edit: also wanted to note the last time this happened I was gaming with a friend and even though the screens died my game was still going as I could hear everything and was still able to talk in chat just fine.
