Hello community. I'm on a tight budget and going for this build. Tell me what you think guys!

Motherboard ASRock Q1900M (integrated CPU Intel J1900)
Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200 RPM
MSI GeForce GT 740 2GB GDDR5
Corsair VS 350W

I'll mostly just use it for daily web surfing and light work. I'll also be doing light gaming (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) on a 18"5 monitor. Thanks in advance!

Note: my main question is, will the components work well altogether and does it meet my expectations?

Solution
Yes it'll probably do medium settings at the sane fps as low , ultimately the 2ghz clock on the celeron will limit performance more than the 740.
If you must go the discrete GPU route would a Pentium g be completely out of budget??
300€ is about $330 where I am. Your motherboard has a FCBGA1170 socket which if you wanted to use the same motherboard you'd be limited on CPU upgrades. I have 4GB DDR2 and a Geforce GT 720 2GB so you wouldn't have to upgrade your RAM or graphics if you want to spend more on a new motherboard and processor but more RAM is never a problem. If you're only playing CS:GO then that game isn't a very demanding game so you don't even have to use all 300€ for upgrades.

Do you have a certain processor manufacturer in mind AMD or Intel? And do you have a certain motherboard manufacturer in mind?

I'm not looking forward to upgrade this.

Sorry, i read that wrong and i though you had these parts and want to get new ones, but you want to build with those parts

Exactly.

No, for an APU system I'd have to spend more money which I really don't want to, thanks for the suggestion anyway.

All the parts you want are compatible and you should still have enough € to get more ram and a better graphics card. Here is the link to your build that i put together. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bub11454/saved/#view=QwrzK8 This website lets you choose parts to order and it shows what is compatible with what you want. You can use it in the future if you ever want to build a new one and be sure what is compatible.

The MSI GeForce GT 740 2GB GDDR5 didn't show a price so I added the GDDR3 one instead.

You are doing this wrong. First I don't need 16GB of RAM. Second point, I'm using the currency euro, not dollars. Third point, I'm buying local.

Ok, I took my own time to find out if your parts are compatible and they are, so there's no need to be rude. You obviously took your time too look for these parts locally so you should know that you have enough € no matter what, so whatever the US price says does not matter at all and i still had a currency calculator just to be sure because i am fully aware that you use € not $. And the 16GB of ram was completely by accident. And if you still want to know if Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz is compatible the answer is yes. That motherboard supports up to 16GB of ram at the highest of 1333 MHz.

gt 740 is garbage you will get almost same performance with no gpu and using integrated i3 gpu and have an option later to put in an even better gpu probably these parts wont be exactly same where you are from but you could probably pick similar setup and have a superior cpu compared to a celeron....

just wait for gtx 1050 for the gpu.

You are doing it wrong like the other guy. I said I'm going to game on a 18"5 so I wouldn't need a Nvidia GTX 1080, obviously. I require a dedicated graphics card to play so I can't rely on an APU system, it's bad for gaming. Plus a 400W PSU of low quality like the one you presented couldn't handle the GTX 1080. Thanks!

You are doing it wrong... You can't just convert the currency and expect it to meet reality, parts in Portugal are way more expensive. The i3-6100 goes for 120€, the motherboard for 60€ I guess, the HDD 50€ and so is the RAM 50€ as well, the PSU is around more 50€ so make your math, it wouldn't bring any benefit to go for that build since it doesn't even have a dedicated GPU which I think is important for gaming.

Yes, it falls about the same price. I was just looking at some numbers and you are right, CPU-wise the APU AMD A10-7850K would outperform the Intel Celeron J1900 but the MSI GeForce GT 740 2GB GDDR5 would out perform the graphics deliver from the APU. Point being, although CS:GO is a more CPU based game as we all know, the importance of the GPU remains as before. Not to mention the APU system would draw more 35W, generating more heat. I want the least consuming and the best cool system, maintaining the lowest price and being just enough for my needs which I've stated before: some web surfing, nothing special and light gaming on a 18"5 monitor, running low graphics on 1024x768. Thanks!

But the 7850k is still 100% the better choice mate honestly , you are not taking into account just how weak that celeron really is , however much better the gt 740 is its performance will be halved by the slow clocks on the celeron.
I can't imagine one scenario where it would beat the amd chip honestly.
& seriously for general desktop use etc the amd chip will generally sit around 30w,it'll only get close to 95w when pushed to the limit on both CPU & GPU in gaming.

And you sir apparently dont even read i said 1050 not 1080.

Will the build I put up work properly and run CS:GO at 60 fps on 1024x768, low graphics?

Anywho, between those there's not much difference since it is the next generation GPUs and I sure won't need one of those good looking beasts for mediocre gaming on a mediocre level such as 18"5 monitor.

Which Pentium G? Say any, I'll try to find it on local stores.
