I'm running an:
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
XFX Radeon R7 360 2GB Core Edition Video Card
I'm having a conflict between AMD audio drivers and Realtek audio drivers. I want to just use the onboard Realtek audio. But AMD keeps overriding Realtek even when AMD is disabled in device manager. I am running three monitors. And the center is a Vizio led tv hooked up via hdmi/hdmi cable. I don't need hdmi audio to this monitor. As I am running my own speaker system from the onboard audio on the motherboard.
Realtek shows up in my computers volume control. and appears to be getting sound as the green bar moves up and down. It is marked as default too. But no audio coming out of my Logitech 5.1 speaker set.
I've been reading forum posts online all morning with no solution. Someone suggested disabling AMD sound on the motherboards bios. I will try that in a bit. But hoping for someone with a real solution that has worked.
