Hello,

I recently installed WIndows 10 build 17025 and the sounds are working correctly, except that I only got stereo sound. I tried to install Realtek driver. On the previous versions on Windows 10 it worked fine, but not now. The installation process goes well seamingly, but after restart there is no Realte control panel, no icon in the bottom right corner, so I'm unable to reconfigure the audio jack panel. Please help me what can I do?

Hello, Flush.

1. Open your Realtek Audio Manager from the Control Panel:

2. Then click on on " i " and put check mark at the bottom "Display icon in notification area".

There is no Realte in the Control Panel. That's why I told the installation process goes seamingly correct, but Realtek Control Panel doesn't show up in the Control Panel and there is no Realtek between the running processes either.

I see, It was unclear to me. Just to be on the same page, I run win 10x64 as well. Lets download driver from here:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Tell me how it went plz.

p.s. Also, one more thing. Can you uninstall the Realtek Audio Codecs? Does windows see it?

You could:
1. RMB on task bar and select Task Bar Settings
2. At the bottom there is an option "Select which icons appear on taskbar"
3. If Realtek is installed and windows sees it , you can enable the icon there.

I tried downloading different drivers from the linked site, tried "64bits Vista, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Windows10 Driver only (Executable file)", and tried "Vista, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Windows10 Driver (32/64bits) Driver only (Executable file)", too. Every time I uninstalled the previous driver before the new was installed. The notification bar is OK, because no icons is hidden, but there is no Realtek icon. Also, there exist a file called C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVCpl64, besides many other files in that folder, but clicking on it is useless, it shows an hourglass icon for a fraction of second, but nothing more happens.
