So here's the thing,

I reinstalled windows 7 on my PC and suddenly the realtek audio control panel won't open. I've searched for a solution online but everyone had suggested to just open up windows sound options and just select your output device, but that won't work for me. I need the control panel to make my front and rear output play separate streams of audio. If i just open the windows sound options I get Realtek Digital Output and Realtek Digital Output(Optical), which i don't need. I need to be able to plug my headphones in the front output of my PC and play one audio stream, plug the speakers to the rear output and also I need to play a third audio stream from my USB audio interface. Everything worked fine before the reinstallation of windows, but now nothing works.

I tried going to C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA and opening the RtkNGUI64.exe and the RAVCpl64.exe but they won't open. I tried running them as an administrator, but nothing happens. I opened up Task Manager to see of something is happening in the background...but unfortunately nothing.

Does anyone know of a solution?

P.S. Sorry if there are some mistakes. English is not my first language.

Thanks in advance,
Steve.

I have all the necessary drivers installed. I downloaded the Realtek 2.82 drivers, and I just can't get it to work. I have sound from my audio interface, but I can't get any output from my front or rear output.

Hi, I see I'm pretty late to this and all, but if you have yet to solve your problem, Realtek seemingly... broke their Audio Control Panel/Manager (whichever you'd like to call it) in their latest update. Install the prior version (just google realtek 2.81 driver) from Techspot, and you'll have your Audio Control Panel/Manager back. It's a real shame they haven't fixed this yet.. I'd post a link, but I didn't actually read the sites TOS, and don't really want to be in violation of anything.
