Hello everyone, I'm having a major issue with a custom built PC i just put together. Everything is running fine and I'm in the green as far as I can tell, except for one major problem. Currently I'm getting no audio and the computer is not recognizing anything plugged into it.
I looked into it and realized there were no audio drivers installed. I went to the website for my motherboard to install the latest Audio Drivers, which were Realtek version 8745 (according to the mobo site)
After installing I pressed Setup and the set up wizard got to work installing my drivers. Or so I thought. After restarting the computer, Realtek Audio manager did not start up. I went digging for it and found the Realtek folder in my program files list, but the only thing in the folder were the Drivers and Installwizard folders, each with a .exe file that when clicked on does nothing.
I've tried downloading different version of the drivers from both the mobo site and Realteks own website, but everytime the same thing happens.
I've gone looking in the startup programs, as well as the Device Manager, but Realtek is nowhere to be found outside of its own programs folder, which again is basically empty.
I'm really at a loss on what to do here and I've been plugging away at it for six hours now. If anyone has an answer I would be incredibly grateful.
I'm using a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming motherboard, Windows 10 Ver. 1804, and an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, as well as a Radeon 560 gpu.
