hi i have loaded windows xp freshly onto my computer but now have no sound error coming up when i try to play windows media player can you help

Go to your motherboard manufacturer's website, and download the audio driver. If you have an OEM computer (Dell, HP, Compaq...etc), instead of a custom build, then go to the appropriate website (Dell, HP...etc), search for your model, and download the audio driver.
