Realtek HD audio issues

my headset are the Astros A40s(no mix amp). I got the Asus Z170-A and have been messing with Realtek to get the right sound but no matter what i doe it sounds off. The side panel sound low and I cant even hear the rear panels. I first plug them in the front d but the front panel sounded muffled and low so now i have my headset plug up in the back of the PC in the motherboard and like I said earlier side panels sound low and cant even hear the rear

Apparently the Astro A series of headphones only have one drivers in each earcup meaning there can't be any point in having to differentiate rear and sides since there is only stereo reception and as such the wire that leads from your audio source(sound card) is stereo. By any chance are you talking about virtual surround sound? As far as I know that feature will come to be in Realtek's Sound Manger window by selecting the Speaker Fill option.
