So I have had this problem a couple of times now with my different home-built computers. Simply, the 'Sound effects' tab goes missing when I install a new motherboard or other components. So far I have been able to solve this problem by uninstalling all the audio managers BUT realtek. (Dolby home theater, etc.). But now I am looking in my Uninstall a program list, and there is no other programs than Realtek audio manager for audio managing. So, what I can do to restore my tab? I am highly addicted to bass, and the default setup does NOT give me much bass... So you see it is quite a problem for me.
