Hello,

I've been running this system for some year:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
CPU Cooler: Be quite! Pure Rock 2
GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 gaming x @ 8gb
Motherboard: MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (MS-7C91)
PSU: RM650 — 650 Watt 80 PLUS
RAM: Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz @ 2x16GB
CASE: Fractal Design Define 7 Compact / Solid
STORAGE: WD Black SN850 M.2 SSD - 500GB (OS DISK)
STORAGE 2: SAMSUNG SSD 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III 500GB

All running @ Windows 10 Pro

I've been having problems that my "Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller has a Hardware IO error." & "Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller has a Hardware IO error." - Taken from event viewer.

When this happens it disconnects my ethernet and all my other devices on the pc.
When I turn off the pc to see what going on and boot it up again I usually get VGA error and red led on motherboard and consequently "No signal" on my monitor.

Anyone know what is happening?

I've been running this system for some year:
How many years?

Windows 10 is the OS, Pro is the edition, what version of the OS are you working with? As for your system, What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard? Did you make sure to manually reinstall all necessary drivers for your platform in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Hi, yes I've installed latest windows update & reset bios recently with latest driver och every component who needs it. This issue is half solved because I swapped ethernet cable, but I will come back if the issue comes around.

Hi guys, I'm in the same boat here. although when it happens it only disconnects me from the internet.

I've tried almost everything I could think of.
  • Clean install.
  • Modifying the properties "Disabling power management, Auto Gigabit off ..etc"
  • Uninstalling the drive and updating it again.
  • Tried different ethernet cables.
it's been like this for almost a year now, so frustrating when playing games or attending a meeting.

My Specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X: 46 °C
Matisse 7nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Single-Channel DDR4 @ 1064MHz (15-15-15-36)
Motherboard
ASRock B550M Pro4 (AM4): 44 °C
Graphics
AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

I was also getting this error, so I monitored everything. What I have noticed is that mostly when gpu temp is over 88 C (hot spot) I am getting this error, LAN and audio driver stopped working.
Solution worked for me:
1. Updated all drivers.
2. Used Msi Afterburner changed fan settings of GPU to kick 80% of speed after 60 C
3. Optional if didn't work cap the FPS to limit GPU temp.
It is quite stable now.

My specs:
Ryzen 5700X
MSI B550 Tomahawk
Nvidia 3060
16 GB dual channel 3200 MHz
