Realtek PCIe GBE family controller stuck at 100 Mbps

Hey everyone im having a massive issue with my internet connection being throttled by the realteak family controller. i have a 350mbps package and i have tested that hard wired into the hub but im connected through powerline adapters capable of up to 500mbps and im using cat.5e either ends of the adapters. ive tried everything i can think of and its driving me crazy! please help.

So it only stuck at 100Mbps when you use the powerline adapter?

yes the controller gets stuck at 100mbps when using the adapters.

In order to get GBE, every step in the connection must support GBE, which your powerline adaptors do not. I don't think the ethernet standards have any speed between 100 and 1000 Mbps, so it drops down to 100 Mbps.

What exact powerline adaptors are you using?

I have no idea why they would advertise a speed of 500 Mbps when then interface is only 100 Mbps.

just noticed that as ive looked aswell. so how come it says they support up to 500mbps when the port is only capable of 100mbps? confusing...

well thats annoyed me, spent all this time trying to sort them out to find out its something wrong with the adapters. really dont understand why they would do that.
