Question Realtek WLAN adapter problem

Hey guys, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBY running Windows 8

When I'm on WiFi, I keep seeing the yellow alert on my WiFi icon (meaning there is an issue) and I'm unable to browse the internet. If I troubleshoot, it's fixes a 'the default gateway is not available' problem for a few minutes but then the problem arises again.

I tried enabling/disabling and uninstalling/installing back the driver but it didn't solve the problem. I even tried restoring the laptop (but kept my files) to its original state. It didn't work.

The network adapter is: Realtek RTL8723BE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

My laptop is: Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBY

Hey there Stylesp. Have you checked out the TCP/IPv4 settings?

I'm going to assume you're supposed to be using a dynamic IP, Gateway, and DNS, in which case you want to make sure "Obtain x automatically" is selected for both IP and DNS server.

If you continue to have problems, you may need to double check your router settings, or try resetting your Windows network configuration.
