I just installed a fan controller as well as replaced a bunch of fans on my chasis to aftermarket ones. After a long time of taking out all the fans/installing new ones and hooking them up to the control I attempted to boot my PC and got the error

"reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media"

I went into the bios and selected HDD as 1st boot and then cd rom as 2nd and the problem persisted.

Also, during my fan installation I powered up/off the pc a couple times to make sure fans were working...could that have messed crap up since I didn't do a legit shutdown?

my specs:

Asus p6x58d Premium
Intel SSD 120gb
standard WD secondary HD
6gb ram
2x 580
i7 920 @ 3.8ghz

Thanks!
