"Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device" error help

My Hard Drive does not show up at all in the boot priority and I keep getting this error. Happened randomly so no idea what could have triggered it. Is my HHD dead? And if so is all of my stuff on it lost? Thanks for the help.

Try another one. If it works, then RMA the old one.

SATA data and power cables connected? Both ends?

HDD make and model?

SATA data and power cables are both connected on both ends, it's a Seagate barracuda 2TB HHD that's all I know about it. I don't have another hard drive to test though.
