Just got a new harddrive and installed win 7 on my working pc then put it in a new pc with a bunch of spare parts i had laying around and keep getting this error. I plugged in my cd drive from working pc with a win7 boot disc and still got the error. Swapped my bios boot setting several times to no avail and even took the battery out and drained the capacitors and im still getting the same error. No idea what to attempt next.

Hi there Jordan_96,

As SR-71 Blackbird said, you can't really expect a proper boot, as the OS was installed on a computer with completely different hardware.

So, you will need to format that drive, get a bootable flash drive or a CD, adjust your boot order so your system can boot from the flash drive or the CD and perform a clean OS installation.
