I recently bought a new motherboard, cpu, and memory to go with it. I got a Asrock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 AM4, G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR 4 3200, and a Ryzen 1600x. The manufacturer says the motherboard supports OC 3200 so I go into the bios and set the XMP profile 1 that sets the speed to 3200, the timings to what their supposed to be, and Dram Voltage to 1.35v what it also says on the box of the ram.

When I do this my computer reboots and reboots over and over about 4-5 times before it does a successful boot. Obviously I'm not gonna keep these settings if its causing reboots like this. I suspect it has something to do with voltage issues, but I do not see why it is not working and for reference I am using a 620W SeaSonic M12II. I have no idea whats going on please let me know if anyone has any ideas or if I just have something defective.

Shoot for 2933. There are issues with ryzen above that speed right now. AMD is supposed to be releasing a microcode update to help soon. Also ensure you have the latest BIOS. It won't run 2933 with the bios that came on the board most likely
I am having the same problem with MSI B350m Mortar and G. Skill TridentZ 8GB X 2 3000 MHz. It ran fine on XMP profile 1 at 2667 MHz for a month but then started getting multiple restart problem. It wouldn't Post and the RAM RGB wouldn't come on, only the Mobo power indicators and case fans would cycle on and off several times. When it finally boots my RAM is shown running at 2133 MHz even though the XMP profile is activated.

Memory still seems to be pretty hit or miss regardless of Board/brand/ram. My machine won't post above 2667 and I can't get the timings any lower than CL14. Best bet is to get certified RAM (I.e. flareX) and cross your fingers.
