Question reCAPTCHA.

Not sure which thread to select, as there wasn't an obvious one to choose!
Every time I search in Google, an 'I am not a robot ReCapture page appears'. Squares appear with a shop front, or a cat, a motorbike, or ... you get the idea. This is so intrusive and annoying, especially when I want to do a quick search, to grind to a shuddering halt. I have tried several You Tube solutions, none of them worked. Does anyone have a solution that actually works permanently? I would appreciate it if you would update me with it, as its driving me around the bend.


I'm using Firefox, only Google as search engine, not Chrome.

i don't know of any way around those. they are coded into the site itself and nothing you can do locally to change how the site was designed.

not sure why google search does this to you every time. i've never seen that when i use the search site.

On rare occasions when I ever use Google Search - I've never seen any captcha in order to see search results.

Does this also happens on Bing / Yahoo / DuckDuckGo?

I’ve seen this when using a VPN, are you using a VPN?
