Hey!

I am just curios to see if my current setup would be lifted by changing my receiver.
My speaker setup is as follows

Klipsch RF-82 I Fronts.
Klipsch RC-64 II Center.
SVS PC-2000 Subwoofer
Klipsch R-14S Surround.

This is paired with a Pioneer VSX-930. 105 watt pr. channel (8 ohm, 1 channel)

The surround speakers aren't the best but that's allright.
Where would my shekels be best spent?

Thanks for any input!

It would depend on what you are listening to, so it would help if you tell us about that.

If you are watching movies with atmos sound effects then you could get a new receiver which supports atmos and either add on atmos RP-500SA II speakers to place on top of your RF-82s or some RP-8060FA IIs which include atmos. For current state of the art movies it helps if the front and surround speakers are the same model since the music and effects often moves between the 4 of them.

Have you done any analysis of your room acoustics?
I agree with the above... It depends on what you listen to and what your source material is.
