[SOLVED] Recently bought an SSD. Plugged everything in and it's not showing up on My Computer.

Hey. So I plugged in both SATA cables. The one to the Mobo and the other to the power supply. Computer is not recognizing the SSD.

full system spec?
is bios?
what os? windows? check device manager?

Open computer management, go to disk management, find the new ssd (itll probably be in the black marked as unallocated) and allocate it. once you start the process its pretty straight forward, itll ask how much you want to partition but you'll probably just not partition it and use the full drive as one. itll ask you to name the drive like "disk D" or whatever.
