Hello everybody!
In Dec 2023, I built a new PC:

  • Motherboard: Maxsun Terminator B760ITX D4 WIFI
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 Alder Lake
  • RAM: Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 2x16GB
  • Case with Power Supply: NZXT H1 650W
  • SSD: Kingston Fury Renegade SFYRSK/1000G
  • GPU: RTX 3060
Everything works great, but... sometimes, only while playing games, the computer completely freezes (IO is disabled), and the only solution is to restart (hold power button). If there was sound playing in the game at that moment, the sound also freezes and loops ("a" turns into an endless "aaa" and so on), the image on the monitor freezes too. I have been playing without this issue for about a week or even more, but now I may have it five times in one day.

There are no obvious patterns or reasons for the freezes, it happens absolutely chaotic, and the event viewer has no records about any errors, it is just Kernel 41 which tells me that the system was shut down incorrectly.

This crash happens very often in PUBG (for the last week, 1 time per 1.5h), but other games such as CS2/Tarkov also has it. Again, I may play Tarkov for 6 hours straight and has 0 crashes, and the other day I may have 2 crashes for the hour.

GPU doesn't go above 70 (it is near 50 almost all the time), and the CPU stays around 40 on average.
CPU has no overclocking, RAM has no XMP.

I ran the following tests and everything was OK:
  • Windows Memory Diagnostics
  • CPU and GPU stress-test
  • Victoria SSD check
  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth + sfc /scannow

and, ofc, chatGPT advices.

What Windows power plan are you using? Have you tried using High performance power setting while gaming? Since it is a new build are the motherboard drivers up to date, like chipset drivers, bios etc from manufacturers web site?

tried all the power plans + custom. Yes, all drivers are up to date.
