Impact might have destroyed the drive.
You can plug the drive directly into a desktop, or get a usb-to-sata adapter and plug it in via usb port. Even if you don't have the usb 3.0 port (blue in color) you might as well spend the few $ more to get a usb 3.0 one.
Once you have it plugged in you may need to go do disk management and assign the drive a letter. If it doe snot show up in my computer or disk management then the drive is toast as well.
