I have decided to go the route of build your own instead of buying a pre assembled PC. First off, would it be wise to build it myself and watch some videos or pay someone locally to assemble it?

Approximate Purchase Date: Next few weeks

Budget Range: 1100-1300 USD including shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: High quality gaming, business activities (lots of tabs open and programs running), media consumption (netflix and youtube)

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Anything that can be shipped to Australia

Your Monitor Resolution: Honestly don't know, but I have two screens it will need to be connected to that are reasonably large.

Additional Comments: Would like it fairly quiet and not as loud as a rocket like my current one. Would also like the case to look decently cool as it will be the feature in my office.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Current computer is around 6 years old and has a multitude of issues.

Thanks :)

Build yourself :) All you need is your hands, scissors and screwdriver. Your monitor should be 1080p 60Hz. Coffee lake is the new king. Upgrade GPU in the future when you need better gaming, i.e. 144 FPS @ 1080p, or 2k+ gaming :)
