Im looking at purchasing a prebuilt gaming PC. I was looking at the Acer Orion 3000 with the i5-14400f, an RTX 4060 and 16gb of DDR5 RAM. I was also looking at the Lenovo Legion T5 with the same specs.
Would any of you recommend either of them?

Welcome to the forums and a Happy New Year, newcomer!

Would any of you recommend either of them?
You might want to pass on a link to the one's you're looking at. If you'd like us to provide an alternative suggestion to what you've found, please include;
where you're located
what your budget for the prebuilt should be
your preferred site for purchase
and
what the prebuilt should encompass.

Would also help if you mentioned what sort of tasks/titles you'll be taxing the prebuilt with.

Please stick to one thread, to keep things concise and on topic!

I looked at the specifications sheets provided at the Curry's links you mentioned.

The fact that details related to power supplies and coolers are not mentioned is not surprising. They're not particularly proud of it and would rather you don't ask.

I'd ask regardless. By email to their customer service department. I don't know what they might say.

If you insist on a pre-built, you will have minimal choice over components. You'll have to tolerate parts you'd rather not have and hope for the best.

Thanks for taking a look at that for me.
I went onto the live chat on the currys website and they said they did not know either and to check the maufacters website i was not sucesssful in finding anything.
I went onto pcs and configuraed a pc with similar specs but a 750watt RMe psu from corsair .
Will this pc be able to run games like MW3 at 1080p with good framrates?

It appears that the 4060 is around the recommended specs judging that the 3060 is in the recommended specs and I don’t think the 4060 is much faster. That said it should run those games. Can’t tell you how well necessarily because the 4060 is kind of a meh/don’t buy card imo but it’s a decent price on the card so I get it.

I’d say if you can pick up the last pc you configured with the Corsair power supply and if your able to swap the liquid cooler for an air cooler I’d probably go with that because as the previous poster pointed out, you don’t know the quality of parts like the power supply. Which maybe the power supply in the other systems are ok, but if they aren’t listing their specs, you don’t know. And if a power supply goes out, cheap ones sometimes can take other components out with them.

I will say part of my thing on the 4060 is I’m not an nvidia fan these days due to their pricing practices so keep that in mind lol. You can’t always judged 100% on youtube but it may give an idea how these games will run. If you parse the very first of the video it looks like they show the pc as running an i5 12400 and 32gb ram. They show quite a few different games, I think they start with black ops 6 which I’m assuming is pretty similar to the modern warfare games on performance. Again take the benchmarks they show with a grain of salt but it may give you a basic idea.
