Currently have a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. Wanting a pretty decent size boost in performance.

I have an i5 9600KF 3.7GHz 9th gen with 16GB of DDR4 ram. My price range is about $500 to $600. Maybe a tad bit more if the card is worth it.

All responses will be really appreciated!

What is the make/model of your psu?
That is what will limit how strong you can go.

You are wise to look for a big boost in capability.
If you buy too little you may be disappointed without magical results.

No doubt there are cards that fit your budget;
The big question, though, is what the new nvidia 3000 series cards will bring and what their availability will be. The 3080 which is for 4k gaming is sold out and not likely to be available soon.

I expect the same for the 3070 cards launching soon.

To hedge your bet, buy a EVGA card.
They have a free 90 day upgrade option if you decide you want something stronger.
Read the details on the evga web site.
