Recommendations: Lenovo Y50-70 Value?

I've been searching for a reasonably priced notebook that has a good mixture of gaming/general-purpose capability, battery, and portability, and I found this Lenovo Y50-70 (specs below) for ~$1200. Would this be a decent solution for general purpose use (school/work) and gaming? Is it worth the ~$1200 price tag?

It is a good laptop for you needs depending on the games you play. I have heard that some lenovos have their refresh rate limited to 48 so I would check before you buy.
